2- Devoluciones

2.1 You have the right to cancel your order and return the products within 5 days of receipt of the products, without giving any reason. Your right of withdrawal starts from the moment you, or your designated recipient, receives your order. The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products.

You will have to pay the return postage. We recommend that you use a trackable mailing system and that you keep your proof of postage. If we have to pay additional postage charges on your parcel, we may deduct the amount of those charges from any refund we send you. Your package is your responsibility until it reaches us. We cannot be responsible for goods that are lost or damaged in transit back to us.

2.3 You must return the goods to us in their original condition within 7 days of the date you informed us that you wish to cancel your order.

2.4 Any returned products must be in their original condition, with no marks or scratches that show evidence of use or handling. If they are not, we may not be able to accept them.

2.5 Provided that the products you send us are in their original condition, we will refund your purchase within 7 days of receipt of your package. If the item arrives undamaged, we will proceed to refund the amount of the same subtracting the amount of postage.

2.6 If it arrives broken: Although the packaging used is quite resistant, it is possible that the transport agency may damage the article during handling. If this has happened, take the following steps:

  1. Take photographs of the unopened packaging (if you have noticed any damage to the box that indicates a knock).
  2. Take photographs of the damaged part.
  3. Take photographs of the box label and the transport agency's delivery note.
  4. Please contact us by email jrartesania@gmail.com to inform us of the defect and await instructions.

3- Changes

If you wish to exchange an item, as long as it is not personalised or custom-made, please inform us within 7 days of receiving your parcel by sending an email to jrartesania@gmail.com. Tell us your order number, which item(s) you wish to exchange and which alternative item(s) you have selected. Also, please check if you need to make an additional payment (in case the new item costs more). You will also have to pay the return postage.

On receipt of our confirmation, within 7 days of receipt of the goods by you, please send the goods you wish to exchange together with the delivery note to the following address:

Your package is your responsibility until it reaches us. We cannot assume the cost of loss or damage to the package in transit back to us. We recommend that you use a trackable mailing system and retain proof of postage and suggest that you insure the goods at their full value.

Any goods returned to us must be in their original condition, with no marks, scuffs or scratches to show evidence of use or handling.

When we have received your package, if the item is in its original condition, we will send you your new products. We must receive payment in full before sending the new products.

4- Delivery

4.1 Your order will be delivered to the address you provided when you placed it.

4.2 We do our best to respect the delivery times agreed and/or indicated on the website. However, we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of late delivery or loss of a package caused by:

  • A third party contracted to carry out the delivery.
  • By you (e.g. by providing the wrong address).
  • Due to some unforeseen event.

4.3 The risk of damage to the goods shall be your responsibility from the time of delivery (the goods are in your possession).

4.4 The order will only be dispatched when we receive full payment for the order, including the cost of transport.

4.5 If you refuse a delivery, or if an order cannot be delivered due to misdirection, you are responsible for the costs of the delivery.

5- Terms and Conditions of Sale

5.1 The Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made by Jacobstraps. No agreement can be created without your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These general terms and conditions of sale govern all relations between: jacobstraps.com and its internet customers ("The Customer").

Before carrying out any transaction, the customer acknowledges that he/she is aware of and accepts these terms and conditions by clicking on the "I accept" button.

5.2 Special conditions of sale: The customer acknowledges being aware, at the time of placing the order, of the particular conditions of sale indicated on the screen (name, component price, quantity, colour, product details, cost of services, etc.) and expressly declares to accept them without reservation. The placing of the order and its confirmation by the customer materialise the full and complete acceptance of the particular conditions of sale, which are only applicable to the order.

5.3 Order: The customer places the order by clicking on the "add to cart" tab. The order is added to a total that includes all the items confirmed by the customer by clicking on the button "I have read the general terms and conditions of sale and accept them without reservation" in the pre-payment process. The jacobstraps.com automatic registration systems serve as proof of the nature, content and date of the order.

5.4 Order confirmation: jacobstraps.com confirms acceptance of your order to the customer via email. The sale will not be finalised until jacobstraps.com confirms the order.

jacobstraps.com reserves the right not to confirm an order for a specific reason such as product supply, a problem concerning the order received (e.g. illegible document), an abnormal order or a foreseeable problem concerning the delivery. In any case, jacobstraps.com will inform the customer of any incident.

No new orders can be placed until the customer has paid the sums due for previous orders. Furthermore, the ownership of the goods shall not be fully transferred until jacobstraps.com has received the sums due from the customer.

5.5 Conditions of delivery of orders: jacobstraps.com reserves the right to use all necessary means to deliver the products to the address indicated by the customer. By accepting the general terms and conditions, the customer agrees to pay the customs charges.

5.5.1 Outside Spain (peninsula) you may have to pay import duties or other taxes, fees or charges levied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt. These fees/taxes are your responsibility and must be paid by you. Unfortunately we have no control over these fees. We cannot tell you what the costs would be, as custom policies, import duties and sales taxes vary widely from country to country.

5.5.2 We will not reimburse you for any import duties and/or local sales tax that your order has incurred on returned items.

5.5.3 Some countries have restrictions on the importation of certain products or materials. You must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you receive the products. You are responsible for determining whether there are any restrictions on the delivery of our products to your destination.

5.6 Delivery times: Deliveries will be made within the period indicated on each product.

5.7 Delivery and reception of orders: Transport costs depend on the items in the order and will therefore be shown in the order validation process.

When placing an order, the customer undertakes to sign the receipt form presented by the person making the delivery, on which he/she may include any remarks he/she deems necessary.

By signing the receipt form, the customer acknowledges having received the number of packages indicated on it. If the customer notices damaged products or missing products, he/she must make a complaint to the Customer Relations Service by e-mail or by post to jacobstraps.com, C/ Turriegel, 74, 23200 La Carolina (Jaén-Spain) within a maximum period of three days.

In case of receiving the goods in bad condition due to mishandling by the carrier, a photo of the goods and the packaging in which they have been sent must be attached. On the other hand, a photo of the transport company's label must be included.

Any event such as, for example, force majeure, accident, strike, administrative decision or transport strike which delays, prevents or renders the supply exorbitant, constitutes, by express agreement, a clause of suspension or termination of the obligations of jacobstraps.com, without compensation for the benefit of the customer if the event takes place for more than 15 days. In these circumstances, the customer will be fully and automatically released from its obligations concerning its order.

jacobstraps.com will inform the customer by any appropriate means, and on the same day that the event occurs, so that the customer can freely cancel their orders by replying by post or e-mail once the event has been notified.

5.8 Delivery company: Deliveries will be made by different transport companies during normal business hours. Please select the delivery address so that someone can receive the package.

5.9 Price: All prices are quoted in Euro and include VAT. The price invoiced to the customer is the price indicated in the order confirmation sent to jacobstraps.com.

If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website, and is not corrected in full at the time of completing the order, for whatever reason (human error, technical error, etc.), your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded, even if it has been initially validated unless we agree otherwise, we accept payments by the following methods:

  • Paypal: with PayPal you can shop online securely and conveniently with your debit or credit card, bank account or PayPal balance.
  • Direct bank transfer: if you choose to pay by bank transfer, you must include the order number with your payment. As soon as we have received your payment in full, we will ship your order.
  • Payment by credit card: you can also pay by credit card in a secure environment on our provider's server, in this case La Caixa. The customer's credit card will be charged (in Euros) via a secure payment gateway provided by La Caixa. jacobstraps.com retains ownership of the products until the customer pays the price of the products and services in full.

We must receive full payment before shipping the products. The ordered products will be delivered after payment by credit card (Master Card, Visa Card, American Express), bank transfer or PAYPAL.

5.10 Product data sheet: The photographs showing the products are provided for information purposes only. The colour of the products shown in the online shop may differ from the actual colour of the product.

The personal data collected during your connection to our commercial site will only be used to process your order. We will not sell, lease or disclose your personal information to anyone (or any third party).

We have the right to cancel or refuse to accept an order on, among others, the following grounds:

5.17 Water resistance: Please note that our straps are not water resistant and are not waterproof.

5.18 Product information: The product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only.

Although we have made every effort to display information and colours accurately, the colours on your screen may differ from the original product.

5.19 General Indemnity: You agree to assume full indemnity for all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses suffered by us and arising out of any breach of the terms of conditions of sale expressed herein. You shall also be liable even if transactions are made by another person using your computer, account number and/or password on our website.

5.20 Fraudulent Payments: If we have reasonable suspicion of a fraudulent payment, we will not dispatch any products and will not make any refunds until authorised by our bank.
